Watching this whole thing though, I'm amazed at the way this business is coming together. There are three people coming together - with their heads solidly in place. They have the capital to make a go of the business and to let it be a money sink for 4 years (good write off ) But at the same time, this leeway removes the pressure that other companies have had to deal with
They get complete creative control, they get their choice of publishers (keep it in house please! You guys are smart enough to figure out how to make it work. Keep it in house, get your own QA staff (and GET A QA STAFF *mumbles*), hire some *real people* to do your CS and in game support and keep it in house), and THEY get to decide when it is ready... Sure - the public may want it sooner, but if THEY are not comfortable with it, they can say no.... this please me
