RA and TenTon

Looks like TenTonHammer had some fun with Mr. Salvatore recently! They have a nice little interview posted on their website, so if you have a few minutes, go read it! Amuzing, funny and very informative. Great read and thank you, Anonymous, for your work getting it!

In other news (yes, I'm slow), our two Head Honcho's, i.e. Curt S. and Brett C., have been out and about on their side of the world. In the news post, On the Road Again, you'll be able to link up to some of their stops and briefs telling about their adventures.

Busy times for a lot of people!! Enjoy reading about these folks we're coming to know and respect more all the time, and the footwork happening pre-Copernicus!

The more I hear about the game design, the more I think WoW Clone.

But despite my best efforts, when I hear Robert say something like this.

"A Wiki that is hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of pages of the lore of the races, the history of the races, the history of the world."

I just can't help but get excited.

I've heard far to little to think WoW.

I have, however, seen enough to see that hiring falls under the same blanket as every other company I've seen. "Must have X number of shipped titled ...", "Must have X number of years on a dev team ...".

Meh. No, I'm not bitter

The first thing I think about any more is how upset I get when I enter a new area and..."DING...you are now level XX"....just for walking a few feet and seeing type come up on the screen. sheesh!!!

There's other stuff I take issue with in games, but I know that really gets me. I still believe in actually having to learn your character to advance!!
