In 2 hours, the
Penny Arcade Expo will be opening in Seattle, WA and some of the crew from
38 Studios will be there! Here's the news:
Quote:
38 Studios Vice President of Business Development Jen MacLean and Producer Rich Gallup will be at this year's Penny Arcade Expo for a pair of panels you won't want to miss!
First up, on Saturday morning from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in Raven Theatre, Jen will be participating in "Game Developer Parents: Raising Our Kids on Games." The panel, consisting of several game executives, will discuss how today's developers are incorporating video games into their children's lives, and what challenges and benefits all parents face by doing the same.
Later that evening, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Walrus Theatre, Rich can be found moderating "The Giant Bomb Reunion Tour 2008." This rowdy group of former co-workers will discuss their current positions in the video game industry - from starting up the site GiantBomb.com, to working in community department of Harmonix, to helping produce an amazing MMOG in the halls of 38 Studios.
Both panels promise to be informative and entertaining. If you're in the Seattle area, or planning on attending PAX, we hope to see you there!

I wish!
Next, we have something that would make my son wish he was already done at Full Sail! Austin's only 5 hours from us, and guess who is going to be there and why?

Wonder if I can sweet talk my boss for this one? Shoot...we'd BOTH go, but we're in management of the shop. Rats! hmmmm...
Have a great day and mull over the news. We're on the downhill slide for 2008 and the estimated date of
Copernicus is 2010! We will probably be seeing more trickle down in the coming months! Exciting, isn't it?
Have a great day. We'll talk soon!
