Active Users

Might want to remove that part on the stats area. Help give the impression of "more activity" and what have ya.

To tell the truth people just need to post and hope for a response. Activity does not always equal better discussions. I actually find it quite disruptive to get a incredibly active base as then we see more and more spam esque post filter in.

Its hard to say given how early it is in the games life span. I mean we dont even have a name for the game yet. Some people look at the stats, some dont. I could remove it and people could complain about it. Generally I dont sweat the details on a site until its gotten its feet under it. I dont really consider it having its feet under it until its gotten up to 500+ users. What we need is some good information or interviews to jump start things. Once we get that I think our userbase will expand and our activity will jump. Then I'll end up having to put the stat back since it will be a good number then.

We were very fortunate on Spheres. We didn't have much of that sort of activity at all, yet we ran a high number of hits/posts until SoE turned off the water. Our community base was extremely conscientious about alerting us to problems before they really started and our staff respected that and helped best we could.

We laid down the rules at the beginning and didn't waiver from them. Mutual adoration society!
