Saturday afternoon I got sick and spent the rest of the day and night in bed.

Hopefully this week I will get an offer for the Instrumentation and Control Supervisor position with El Paso Electric at the plant right up here by our house...that would make my whole month! (or year even!)

Happy Monday! Time to shake off the cobwebs and get back into gear for work this week... not that I'm ever out of gear for design work, but still. I'm proud of myself for not even turning on a computer over the weekend. Seriously! Hooray me. How were your weekends?

Anyway, mine was pretty good. Still no AoC beta invite, .

Saturday morning my girlfriend and I went down to Sioux Falls to pick up her little sister for the weekend. The next day and a half we spent playing games (Ninja Burger, Fluxx, Star Wars RPG) and such with her. We took her back to Sioux Falls, came back to Brookings, and went to bed. Exciting.

On Monday morning at 6 AM sharp, we woke up and got active. I had an interview in Eagan, Minnesota at 1 PM - a 5 hour drive from Brookings. After I put on my new suit (I hate suits and will never wear one again if I can help it) and got some things together, we headed out.

The interview went well, but I don't know if I got the job or not. Gah, it's hard finding an entry-level job without a tech degree.

10 hours of driving yesterday and I used up all the money I've got. Yes, ALL of it. My credit cards are both over limit (damned finance charges) and I don't have the money to pay them; nor do I have an income or the HOPE of paying them.

That was my weekend, and my Monday.
