Classes
What sort of classes do you want to see in the game?
I'd like to see the following:
Rangers
Bards
Wizards
Those are three I'd like to see in the game personally. Now how about others?

Re: Classes
Necromancer/Leech/Bloodmage
might give them a other name just to be creativ and to fit it better into the story plot. Voodoo Priest / Master of the Dark Arts / ...
Mentalist
something like the enchanter in EQ. Illusions and controlling enemies with low IQ. Doing dmg by commanding the enemie to hurt himself.
Gaukler
its an old german word for the people that were traveling around showing tricks with bears, magic tricks, dagger throwing.
This is one class I would realy like to see, nobody else did it till now in any game but they would fit perfectly into the fantasy plot.
Let them be good with daggers, let them throw cards, illusions, maybe stealing, maybe some sumoning of items that they throw on their enemie. There is a lot of creative potential in this class.
Martial Artist
would be cool to have diffrent schools that teach diffrent technics. "my dragon style will beat your baby storch style any day!!!"
Samurai/Blade Warrior/Master of the Sword ...
offensive warrior type, no metal armor but very good in doging parry, doing some nasty blade tricks.

Re: Classes
I'm a druid at heart, but since we don't know the direction this is taking, not sure what to call it.
A character that is very much in tune and at one with the earth and it's beauty, but also how to use that to the benefit of others. A touch of the mentalist, they way they can use creatures to help, and the wit and ability of a ninja. Druids aren't all sweet and cuddley, after all. They can hack 'n slash with the best of them, only with cunning finesse!

Re: Classes
Since I believe they are going with a more fantasy-oriented route, I imagine that something like "Druid" isn't too far out of the realm of possibilities.
I did have to laugh at a Gnome Necro/Paladin though.

Re: Classes
He's a confused little guy ... (I believe he's a split personality, but he insists neither of them are *shrug*)

Re: Classes
NICE! I'd pay for a comic of a super-gnome who can decimate a forest with his hands. So many goodtimes there.

Re: Classes
Now, I don't think any of the following should be a starting class, I think you should have to make choices that ultimately lead down a web to your final class, but these are the final 24 classes I feel a game could support without too much overlap.
Ranger
Marksmen
Shapeshifter
Raider
Monk
Bard
Assassin
Ninja
Arcanist
Elementalist
Siren
Illusionist
Summoner
Necromancer
Lich
Spectre
Berzerker
Samurai
Bloodknight (Vampire)
Dragonkin
Paladin
Judge (Think Seventh Hammer)
Priest
Shaman
